Dudley Watkins-Baker

He was born in 1877 in Clifton. He joined Clifton RFC in 1901-02.

 

Leonard Frere Watkins-Baker

He was born on the 3rd August 1882. He was educated at Clifton College from 1892 to 1896. He joined Clifton RFC in 1900-01.

 

Claude Watkins-Baker

He was born on the 11 th July 1883. He was educated at Clifton College from 1893 to 1899. He joined Clifton RFC in 1901-02. In 1920 he married, a 17 year old, Kathleen Helena Lee in Scarborough, Yorkshire. He was Manager of a Tea and Rubber Estate in Ceylon.

He died at St. James Hospital in Leeds in 1958.

 

Thomas Watkins-Baker

He was born on the 30th August 1875. A solicitor, he joined Clifton RFC in 1896-97 and became Captain in the following season. He joined Bristol in 1901 but returned to Clifton in 1907. He became President of Bristol Saracens RFC between 1906-07 and 1908-1910. He emigrated to Canada and became a Rancher in Vancouver. He married Lena Howard Freer, daughter of M. Howard Freer and Gertrude Loiuse Davies on the 13th April 1914 at Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

He died on the 23rd February 1949 in Haney, British Columbia.

 

Edward Watkins-Baker

The only Clifton player that has played for the Barbarians. He joined Clifton RFC in 1903-04.

He died on the 12th January 1967 in British Columbia.

 

Lionel Charles Watkins-Baker

He was born on the 3rd February 1886. He was educated at Clifton College from 1899 to 1903 and Bristol University. He joined Clifton RFC in 1903-04. He married Irene Frances Gwendoline Dempster on the 18th February 1913 in Natal, South Africa.

 

Cecil Leecroft Watkins-Baker

He was born on the 27th July 1881. He was educated at Clifton College from 1892 to 1897.
