James A. Hatherell
He was born abt. 1858 at Old Sodbury, Gloucestershire. The son of Isaac Hatherell, a farmer at Lye Grove Farm, Old Sodbury, brother of Robert. He joined Clifton RFC in 1880-81. He was an Iron Merchant.
R.C.Hatherell
He joined Clifton RFC in 1880-81. Son of John Hatherell, who was Isaac’s brother.
Robert Ratcliffe Hatherell
He was born on the 9 th January 1863 at Old Sodbury, Gloucestershire. The son of Isaac Hatherell, a farmer. He was the uncle of Francis Roy Hatherell. He was educated at Clifton College from 1875 to 1880 and then Trinity College, Cambridge. He joined Clifton RFC in 1884-85. He was a Surgeon at St. Thomas’s Hospital, London. He moved to Australia. He died in 1943 and is buried in Manley, .
Francis Roy Hatherell
He was born on the 29 th April 1904 at Rochford, Essex. He was educated at Clifton College from 1913 to 1921. He joined Clifton RFC in 1921-22. He moved to South Africa.
