Clifton Captain. England trialist.
He was born on the 4th July 1883. Educated at Clifton College from 1894 to 1899. He captained Clifton from 1907 to 1909. He married Margaret Anne Proctor Wills, the daughter of Sir George Alfred Wills. In 1932, after Sir George Wills' death, they bought Goldney House, Clifton from the trustees of his estate. In 1956, in accordance with his late wife's wish. he sold Goldney House to Bristol University and it became student accommodation. He died on 2nd May 1968.
