Matt Salter

 
 
 

He was born on the 2nd December 1976 in Greenwich, London. He was educated at St. Dunstans College, Lewisham, London. He originally played rugby league for London Broncos in 1999 but switched codes and briefly played for West Hartlepool before joining Bristol in 2000. He left Bristol in 2003 after they were relegated and joined Leeds Tykes. He rejoined Bristol in 2004-05 and became captain for four seasons in a row. In 2009 he left Bristol to coach at the Bristol Academy and joined Clifton as a player/coach.
